House built in 1962 according to the design of Atelier Vanhout-Schellekens. Detached, modern single-storey residence with a flat roof. Austere volume in white-painted brick; distinctive horizontality emphasized by the wall sections and rectangular window bands; street façade opened up due to southern orientation.
Characteristic house for the early period of the aforementioned architects: the contrast between the load-bearing masonry and glass as infill material and the drainage of roof water into a water basin in front of the house among other things indicate knowledge and influence of Scandinavian architecture; the closed and solid character created by large brick surfaces and the logical floor plan layout are distinctive characteristics, typical and further developed in later houses
